Purchase a part of St. Mary’s History

Celebrating a century of dedicated care, St. Mary’s Medical Center is proud to offer its commemorative book chronicling a remarkable 100-year journey.

Beginning with the travels of the Pallottine Missionary Sisters to the states, this book invites readers to delve into the rich tapestry of the hospital’s history, pioneering medical breakthroughs and heartwarming tales of resilience.

Written by former associate editor of The Herald Dispatch, James E. Casto, this book serves as a tribute to the unwavering commitment of staff, the unwritten stories of patients and the enduring spirit that has defined this institution for a century.

Your purchase also includes Praying the CHRIST Values of St. Mary’s, a work compiled by Rev. Greg and Robin Creasy. Bringing together a few of the many prayers that have been written and spoken by the Pallottine Sisters and others within the walls of St. Mary’s Medical Center, this book preserves the words that have resonated throughout the hospital for a century.

Thanks to a generous donor, there is no additional charge for shipping and handling. Shipping will take seven to ten business days, US shipping only. To order the book, contact Rita Elkins in Spiritual Care and Mission at 304-526-1188.
