Helping Students Struggling with Food Insecurity
Growing up poor John Williams knew what it felt like to be food insecure. Williams, a West Virginia native and self-made businessman who found success in Real Estate and the construction industry, has generously supported the Center for Education food pantry for several years to ensure all students at the St. Mary’s Schools of Nursing, Radiology and Respiratory have access to the supplies they need. The food pantry has an open-door policy – take what you need, no questions asked.
Following their convictions to give back to those in need and their personal passion to ease the burden of those struggling with food insecurity, John and his wife, Linda, have established an endowment to fund the food pantry at the St. Mary’s Center for Education for decades to come.
The Williamses have pledged to match gifts to the food pantry up to $25,000 – a potential of raising $50,000 to help the students and their family who are seeking education in healthcare related fields from the Center for Education.
Partner with John and Linda Williams to benefit the students of the Center for Education.
Please consider partnering with John and Linda by making a tax-deductible donation to support the food pantry. All proceeds will directly benefit the students of the Center for Education.
