We Are… Dance Thunder!
Dance Thunder is a Marshall University student organization dedicated to supporting the Pediatric Oncology Center at Hoops Family Children’s Hospital at Cabell Huntington Hospital, a member of Marshall Health Network.
The 2026 Dance Thunder Dance Marathon is a 12‑hour, high‑energy, support‑driven event that directly benefits the incredible kids and families served by the Pediatric Cancer Center.

Dance Thunder is a Marshall University student-run organization dedicated to supporting childhood cancer care at Hoops Family Children’s Hospital. Each year, students, families, and community members come together for the Dance Thunder Dance Marathon—a 12-hour, student-led event filled with music, themed hours, activities, and moments of reflection.
By registering to participate, you’ll stand in solidarity with local children and families while helping raise critical funds that make a real impact. Join as an individual or form a team with your organization, friends, or family and be part of something bigger.
