HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – More than 200 golfers representing 50 teams took to the course Monday, Sept. 21, for the 16th Annual Children’s Classic Golf Tournament benefiting Hoops Family Children’s Hospital.

Hosted by Marshall Health Network Foundations at Guyan Golf & Country Club, the tournament featured full morning and afternoon flights, bringing together golfers, sponsors and community supporters to help advance pediatric care for children and families throughout the region.

“The Children’s Classic is a tremendous show of support for Hoops Family Children’s Hospital and the children and families who depend on us,” said Matt James, vice president of foundations for Marshall Health Network. “We are grateful to every golfer, sponsor, volunteer and community partner who makes this event possible and helps us continue investing in exceptional pediatric care for our region.”

The tournament was made possible with support from Pinnacle Health Group, MIRC Construction Services, Dutch Miller Auto Group, SEGRA and 50 additional sponsors and community partners.

Proceeds from the Children’s Classic support the Hoops Family Children’s Hospital, including equipment, programs, and specialty items such as infant swaddle blankets for all infant patients.
