Rev. Rory Chapman

Rory is a lifelong resident of Huntington, WV, one of the pastors at Redemption Church in Huntington, and has served as the Executive Director of FaithHealth Appalachia since October of 2020. After receiving his Masters in Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY, Rory felt the urge and call to stay in Appalachia. With a passion for seeing the local church fulfill its mission to see the Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven, Rory seeks to connect local faith communities and social services to individuals with health-related social needs to better address their social determinants of health.
Since his tenure started, FHA has grown in its partnerships throughout Huntington and the greater Marshall Health Network service area, both within the faith communities as well as other social service organizations. The mission of FHA is close to Rory’s heart, and he is enthusiastic about its impact here in Huntington and beyond.
