Kheng McGuire

Kheng McGuire is a successful and influential community advocate. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a Business Concentration from Hollins University in Roanoke, VA. Kheng serves on the Board of Directors for the Society of Yeager Scholars at Marshall University and was past President of the Local School Improvement Council at Huntington High School. While she was Executive Director of United Way of the River Cities, she was appointed to the Governor’s 21st Century Jobs Cabinet and the WV Commission for National and Community Service. In 2017, Kheng started the Girls Who Code Club (GWC) at Huntington High School with two volunteers and has since recruited additional volunteers to teach the members coding in various programs. Other organizations she has been associated with/involved in include: Junior League of Huntington, Huntington Museum of Art, Marshall Artist Series, YWCA International, Heritage Farm Museum, Lily’s Place, US Youth Soccer Region 1 Championships.
