Charles Heiner worked in every aspect of Heiner’s Bakery learning the business before becoming Vice President and Treasurer. The bakery sold in 1996 and he became Plant Manager in 2000. He was instrumental in providing continuity to the company during the various ownership changes. Today, Charles provides auto, home, commercial and life insurance as an agent with Erie Insurance throughout the tri-state area. When he is not focused on insurance, you can find him spending time with his wife, Michelle Shaver Heiner, his three boys, Chuck, Chris and Chad. The family are members of Fifth Avenue Baptist Church. He enjoys golfing with his many friends at Guyan Golf & Country Club. On Wednesday afternoons you can find him attending meetings with the Barboursville Rotary Club where he is Sergeant of Arms. Furthermore, he regularly attends City Club of Huntington with his father, friends and other community leaders. He is a proud Thundering Herd alumnus (1986), so he and his family enjoy cheering them on.
