Lulu was born prematurely at 30 weeks and 6 days after her mom spent months on bedrest. She spent the first two months of her life in the NICU at Hoops Family Children’s Hospital, where she received specialized care to help her grow, breathe, feed, and thrive. Her family is incredibly grateful for the compassionate NICU team who cared for Lulu and supported them through one of the most difficult seasons of their lives. Their experience was so meaningful that Luly’s mom later joined the Hoops team as an occupational therapist in the NICU.
Today, Lulu is a happy, energetic toddler who loves swinging, dancing to music, playing with baby dolls, and eating just about anything. She is a little shy but loves to explore and keep up with her two older brothers. She is also completely obsessed with drinks and drink cups! As a Hoops Ambassador, Lulu is helping raise awareness and support for the NICU and the smallest patients who begin their lives there.
