Kaylee was diagnosed with Stage 4 Burkitt lymphoma and leukemia at just eight years old. After months of being sick and undergoing chemotherapy, she showed incredible strength throughout her journey. Her family is grateful for the compassionate care she received at Hoops Family Children’s Hospital, where she grew especially close to her nurses and doctors.
Today, Kaylee is a second grader at Burch PreK-8 who loves Marshall football, swimming, horse shows, and planting flowers. She enjoys playing with Nerf guns, watching Spy Ninjas, and, of course, a good caramel milkshake. As a Hoops Ambassador, Kaylee is excited to help raise awareness and support for the Pediatric Floor at Hoops Family Children’s Hospital.
