About Eli
An eleven-year-old sixth grader in our community, Eli, was diagnosed with juvenile idiopathic arthritis shortly after his first birthday. Eli has had major ups and downs throughout his young life with arthritis in both knees, multiple joints and in both ankles as well as chronic eye conditions. “Having the doctors and nurses at Hoops Family Children’s Hospital talk to him about his interests and obstacles and truly listen to him and us has helped us to finally feel heard,” said Eli’s mom.
Eli ‘s favorite animal is a fennec fox, he really likes anime, and he is a Philadelphia Eagles fan! As a Hoops Ambassador, Eli is raising support for the pediatric infusion center at Hoops Family Children’s Hospital.
