Anna Ruth was born prematurely and spent 13 nights in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Hoops Family Children’s Hospital after having trouble breathing. With the support of the NICU team, she received the care she needed to strengthen her lungs, learn to eat, and eventually go home to her family. Today, Anna Ruth is a happy, thriving little girl who has continued to smash every milestone and goal, with plenty of sass along the way!
Now part of the Tiny Hearts Program at Sacred Heart, Anna Ruth loves dancing, horseback riding, princess dresses, and all things Moana and Rapunzel. She is a strawberry lover, a wild child, and absolutely adores her dad and big brother. As a Hoops Ambassador, Anna Ruth is helping raise awareness and support for the NICU team that gave her the strong start she needed.
