In August 2024 Alex reached remission. Her cancer returned in February 2025, and she again turned to the compassionate and advanced care from Hoops. Alex received a stem cell transplant during the fall of 2025.
Alex, who loves cats, books, Legos, and is an avid fan of Cabell Huntington Hospital’s cheese pizza, is engaged to the love of her life and is looking forward to her journey into adulthood.
